Student Council would like to thank all of the families and staff members who participated in our Hillside Gives Back Spirit Days. A huge shoutout to the Hillside Fire Department for helping transport our donations to the Westchester Food Pantry. It was a wonderful week and an incredible way to kick off our winter break. Our Spanish Club had an amazing session filled with dance, music, and fun! Students got to learn the vibrant Mexican Baile Folclórico and showed off some moves! A perfect mix of culture, rhythm, and excitement!

The Spanish Club had a fantastic time creating our Día de los Muertos altar! Students worked together to honor this beautiful tradition and learned about its meaning and symbols. A huge thank you to Mrs. Ortiz for help and support.

Today in Spanish Club, our students learned about traditional Spanish foods and even got to make the famous tortilla. A big thank you to our special guest, Mrs. Martinez, one of our student's mom, for helping out. It was so much fun!
