As the new Superintendent of Hillside SD 93, I am humbled by the opportunity to serve this remarkable district and proud to be a Bluejay! It is an honor to lead this district, building upon the strong foundation that has been established over the years. Hillside is a community rich in history, tradition, and pride, and I am committed to honoring that legacy while working with every stakeholder to create a future filled with promise and possibility for our students.
Our district serves a wonderfully diverse population of students, each with unique gifts, talents, and needs. I am dedicated to ensuring that all students—regardless of race, color, zip code, or demographics—have equitable access to learning opportunities, a highly-qualified and diversified Staff and experiences that enhance learning, foster curiosity, and prepare them for success in an ever-changing world. I believe that when we value diversity and meet students where they are, we open the door to deeper learning, stronger engagement, and greater achievement.
With over 28 years of experience in education, I remain deeply committed to making a lasting, positive impact on student outcomes. Our progress as a district will be built on strong relationships and partnerships with students, families, staff, and community members. When we respectfully listen to and learn from one another, the best solutions and most innovative ideas emerge—always with the success of Hillside’s students at the center.
I look forward to working alongside you this year to ensure that Hillside SD93 continues to be a place where every student feels valued, seen, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
