NEW TESTING PROGRAM- Starts on Wednesday, March 8
covidSHIELD On-Demand provides SHIELD’s saliva PCR test for use at home for students, staff and family members. Test kits will be brought home from school, then samples will be dropped off at Hillside School between 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the vestibule (Door #4).
This program will NOT replace our weekly testing program on Mondays and Thursday. But rather, this program allows our staff, students and families immediate access to FREE testing if a person is exposed to COVID-19 or has related symptoms.
If you need an On-Demand Testing Kit, please contact the Main Office 708-449-6490. Results will be sent directly to the patient or parent usually within 24 hours of when the kit is picked up and sent to the lab. Results are accessible through the SHIELD Illinois web portal.

covidSHIELD On-Demand provee la prueba PCR de saliva de SHIELD para uso en la casa por parte de los estudiantes, empleados y miembros de la familia. La escuela proporcionará kits de pruebas y estos serán llevados a casa. Las muestras pueden dejarse en la Escuela Hillside en el vestíbulo (puerta #4), entre las 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Este programa NO reemplaza el programa semanal de los Lunes y Jueves. Más bien este programa permite que nuestro personal, nuestros estudiantes y sus familias tengan acceso GRATUITO e inmediato a una prueba en el evento de que uno de ellos haya estado expuesto al COVID-19 o presente sus síntomas.
Si usted necesita paquetes On-Demand por favor contacte a la Oficina principal al 708-449-6490. Los resultados serán enviados directamente a los pacientes dentro de las siguientes 24 horas a partir de la que muestra es recogida y mandada al laboratorio. Los resultados son accesibles en el portal web de SHIELD Illinois.
