Bullying

Bullying is the deliberate, hurtful treatment that is repeated over time.  It is important that every person realize that he/she has the right to feel safe.  If you or your children are experiencing any of these types of bullying treatments, please report it to the Online Bullying Report or email a building administrator.
 
 

Physical Bullying

Repeated physical intimidation such as:

  • hitting
  • kicking
  • tripping
  • pinching
  • pushing
  • damaging property

Verbal Bullying

Ongoing threatening, teasing or disrespectful comments about personal attributes:

  • name calling insults
  • teasing intimidation
  • homophobic remarks 
  • racist remarks
  • verbal abuse

Social Bullying

Deliberately preventing someone from joining or being a part of a group:

  • lying and spreading rumors
  • physical gestures,
  • playing nasty jokes to embarrass
  • mimicking unkindly
  • encouraging others to socially exclude someone
  • damaging someone's social reputation

 

Cyber Bullying

Spreading lies, mean words, of false rumors through:

  • Abusive or hurtful texts emails or posts, images or videos
  • Deliberately excluding others online
  • Nasty gossip or rumors
  • Imitating others online or using their log-in
