Lunch Service
Hillside School has an on premise school cafeteria. Students have a choice everyday of the entree on the menu, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or yogurt. The remaining food on the tray will be served as posted on the menu. Milk is included in the price of the lunch.
Bringing fast food along with soda is unhealthy and disruptive and is not allowed. Hillside uses an automated lunch payment system for school lunches. Each child is assigned a four-digit pin number in kindergarten. The same number will be used all the way through eighth grade. This system can be used only to purchase lunches, not to pay any other fees. In order to pay for lunches you must place a check or cash in an envelope along with your child's full name and pin number. This envelope must be placed in the lock box located in the main lobby across from the front reception desk. Absolutely no money will be accepted in the lunch line. Parents are invited to eat lunch with their children. A call must be made the morning of the lunch to arrange for the visit, and parents must obtain a visitor's pass when they enter the school. Additonally, Hillside School makes available a student breakfast program at minimal cost. Items are ordered for the following day and served in the homeroom before classes begin. Fee Schedule
